One of the greatest compliments you can pay us is to recreate our recipes in your own kitchens, whether it be by following the recipe to a T or using it as inspiration.
Having said that, if you are a fellow blogger or recipe creator, I expect you to properly give credit for our recipes and our photographs. They are all protected under The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998. We love for you to reference our recipes in your posts with proper links back to the original page on our site.
If you choose to recreate and share a recipe of ours, it should be rewritten in your own words, linking back to the recipe on our site with a working clickable link. Do not publish our posts in their entirety. If your recipe is an adaptation, it should say “Recipe adapted from Lemony Thyme.”
You may share our photos, as is, watermarks in tact, stating “Photo by Lemony Thyme” with a link back to the photo as it appears on our site. Re-sizing is fine, cropping is not.

Hi Libby,
My name is Irene, and I am a sophomore in Harvard writing for Spoon University, an online community where college students share recipes, restaurant reviews, and more! I’m currently compiling a list of delicious bread pudding recipes, and with your permission, I would love to feature your Maple Pecan Bread Pudding (with bourbon sauce) by using one of your photos and linking the article to your website. I’ve read over your Copyright page, but I wanted to double check with you before proceeding with the article. Please let me know if this all sounds okay!
Thanks!

Hi Irene,
I just sent you an email reply but wanted to respond here as well. We would be honored to be included in your bread pudding round up. Thank you for checking and for the link back to the recipe.
All my best,
Libby
