Italian Herb & Lemon Roasted Shrimp
Italian Herb & Lemon Roasted Shrimp.
This is one of those recipes that was too simple not to try. Doesn’t require many words to describe it and the end result will leave you wanting more. Lots more. Here we go.
Step #1 ~ Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Put a stick of butter on your favorite shallow rimmed baking sheet. Place in oven until melted, about 5 minutes.
Step #2 ~ Slice a lemon and lay slices over melted butter.
Step #3 ~ Lay a pound of shrimp (we used a fat pound of large shrimp), peeled or not, on top of the butter/lemon layer.
Step #4 ~ Sprinkle a packet of Good Seasons Italian Seasoning (or 3 Tbl. of your favorite seasoning blend) over the shrimp.
Step #5 ~ Place baking sheet in oven and roast for 10 – 15 minutes, depending on the size of your shrimp. We went 10 minutes with our large and they were perfect.
I don’t think this step is really necessary, but I have this gorgeous picture I wanted to share.
Step #6 ~ Eat these babies. We stood at the counter, butter dripping from our fingers, happy as two hogs in heat. Did I just say that? Pretty sure I did. They were that good.
This picture was taken mere minutes after our Italian Herb & Lemon Roasted Shrimp came out of the oven. They’ll be gone in a hurry. Make them. Make them for an appetizer. Make two pounds and call them dinner. Just make them soon and thank me later.

This looks absolutely delicious, Libby! It’s quite possible that if someone asked me to, I’d happily eat my weight in grilled shrimp :)
