Bacon, Egg, & Cheddar Cheese Biscuits {Sundays with Shelby}
It’s been too long since my last Sundays with Shelby outing. Today I’ve come up with a sure fire way to entice her for breakfast. We recently made Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits {Red Lobster Inspired} and they were delicious on their own. We’re going to elevate the game by building a classic Bacon, Egg & Cheddar Cheese Biscuit out of them. Oh Shelby your mamma’s calling…

I too have an herb garden that I’m just starting to use like crazy. Fresh herbs make such big difference in your recipes! Thanks for sharing all your incredible looking recipes! Look forward to trying many of them! :)

A question; I can buy sour cream here (third world country) but not buttermilk.
Is there a way to add vinegar or something to sour cream and come up with buttermilk?thanks for your help!

Kay, I asked our facebook friends for an answer and most agreed that: Mix together 1 cup milk (reduced-fat milk, if possible) and 1 Tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice. Let sit for at least 5 minutes! Hope that helps. Much love to you, Libby

Kay, I thought I was the only one reading this that had that problem! I have to make my own Bisquick too. The advice on buttermilk is what I’ve read anywhere I’ve encountered the question, so it must be right! :-)
