Praline Banana Nut Muffins {Share the Love}
I delivered Praline Banana Nut Muffins to my office yesterday morning. It’s how I {Share the Love} with 35 of my favorite people. Here’s how they show me the love. To quote a co-worker “I felt like I was eating a muffin from some gourmet bakery when I had yours. It was AMAZING!!! Totally worth the sweet cheat. Thank you for sharing!!!” Now that motivates me and makes me smile.

Savory Parmesan & Herb Walnut Biscotti
We’ve been making a big pot of Farmers Market Minestrone Soup each week. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy fresh produce and gives us a healthy option for lunch or dinner throughout the week. Since we’ll be having soup for lunch today I decided to make these Savory Parmesan & Herb Walnut Biscotti to serve on the side.

Bread Machine Bread Bowls
Bread Machine Bread Bowls. Perfect for Soups, Stews, Chilis & Chowders. By popular demand I am sharing our Bread Bowl recipe, using dough made in our bread machine. We followed the recipe for the French Bread Dough and instead of cutting it in half for two baguettes, we cut it in four pieces for bread bowls.

Homemade Croutons
Homemade Croutons are just minutes away if you have bread in the house. Any kind of bread works. But. Using roasted garlic crusty bakery bread, sliced thick…will make them stand out in a crowd. Go ahead, show off.

Bacon & Sage Soda Bread
Bacon & Sage Soda Bread. I first tackled making Irish Soda Bread on St. Patrick’s Day. Much easier than I had expected, made from ingredients we typically have on hand. AND can be ready in 35-40 minutes, which is nice. Especially when the Classic Beef Stew you’re making is almost finished and you realize you have no crusty bread, which is practically an ingredient on it’s own.

Homemade Flour Tortillas
You’re just four ingredients and 30 minutes away from Homemade Flour Tortillas. What? You ask why? Why would we bother making homemade tortillas? Well, perhaps…

Homemade Bagels
It took me quite some time to build up the nerve to attempt Homemade Bagels. The list of ingredients and lengthy instructions lay by my computer for weeks. I struggled to locate Diastatic Malt Powder, which was my first excuse for delay, but ultimately ordered it from Amazon. I couldn’t make bagels without smoked salmon and cream cheese to enjoy them with. I bought them the next time I was in the grocery store. When the day came that I was finally ready, I was confident and I was hungry. Let’s do this.

Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins {Share the Love}
Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins from Cooking Light. This recipe sounded so good to me. Perhaps because I’m on a blueberry kick and until recently I had forgotten how easy muffins are to make. They are truly underrated. Breakfast on the go. Great snack. Start to finish, ready in 30 minutes. Brought them to the office this morning to {Share the Love}. A nice healthy start to our week.

Brown Butter Irish Soda Bread {with Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper}
Brown Butter Irish Soda Bread {with Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper} As St. Patrick’s Day entered the radar of food bloggers and the like, the recipe sharing became fast and furious. I couldn’t have imagined Guinness could find it’s way into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert….but alas it’s been done. Wonderful dishes rich in flavor yet not overdone. I suspect that holds true for Ireland herself. I never question the authenticity of a dish, purely because I love to experiment with recipes and expect others do as well. Let that be the lead in to this not so traditional Brown Butter Irish Soda Bread with Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper. The beautiful…

Pistachio-Chai Muffins
I really should make muffins more often. They are perfect for breakfast, beautiful as an afternoon snack, and happiness just before bed. Beautiful little bundles of goodness. When a recipe calls for Chai Tea, Buttermilk, and Pistachios and you happen to have all of them in the house….it’s a sign. These Pistachio-Chai Muffins have hints of cinnamon, ginger, star anise, clove, cardamom…all the wonderful spices that make Chai Tea so comforting.
