Sage Brown Butter Shrimp Scampi
Sage Brown Butter seemed like a natural way to build this Shrimp Scampi dish. It’s well noted on the pages of Lemony Thyme that Sage Brown Butter is something I’m passionate about. The best way to describe it…’sensual.’ Definition ‘sen-su-al’ adjective: “relating to or consisting in the gratification of the senses or the indulgence of appetite.”

Steamed Mussels, Shrimp & Sea Scallops
Steamed Mussels Shrimp & Sea Scallops. This was last Sunday’s dinner. We posted a preview pic on facebook looking for a catchy name for this pot of love. The responses ranged from Shellfish Goodness to Seafood Delight, Call Me for Supper, and Shell-fish-pa-looza. All of which could aptly label this fabulous dish.

Pan Seared Sea Scallops {with Basil Pesto Pasta}
Pan Seared Sea Scallops with Basil Pesto Pasta. Fill my pasta bowl with capellini tossed in fresh Basil Pesto and I am one happy camper. Top it with pan seared scallops and I’m liable to do a back flip. Something I’d regret in the morning.

Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing
We love Caesar Salad. For these reasons. Homemade Croutons and Caesar Dressing. I’m just being honest. Yes, we enjoy the lovely crunch of romaine lettuce, and the nutty saltines of fresh shaved Parmesan cheese. We even add warm boiled eggs, which are incredible on this salad. But it all comes back to the Homemade Croutons and Caesar Salad Dressing.

Spaghetti & Turkey Meatballs
Sometimes I crave Spaghetti & Meatballs. I’m not really a big ‘craver’…if that is a word, except Chocolate cravings….those happen most days at either 3 pm or and 9 pm. It’s Day #2 of Eat Out of the Fridge/Pantry Week. As I walked out the door it occurred to me – should I thaw Chicken or Ground Turkey? Turkey it was and meatballs it became.

Pappardelle & Peas with Ricotta Pesto {Weight Watchers}
Pappardelle pasta became a new favorite last winter. It’s luxurious actually. This Pappardelle & Peas with Ricotta Pesto recipe, adapted from my Weight Watchers cookbook, has just the right amount of richness while still being calorically friendly.

Cavatappi with Browned Brussels Sprouts and Buttery Breadcrumbs
I love a fall harvest dinner made with a star ingredient like Brussels sprouts. Once the only vegetable on my won’t-eat-foods list, the Brussels sprout has soared to the top of my favorite-food list. In the fall-winter months we seriously have them multiple times per week. I was flipping through my new Cooking Light magazine and without even reading the recipe I bookmarked the page for Cavatappi with Browned Brussels Sprouts and Buttery Breadcrumbs.

Chicken Parmesan {Share the Love}
Chicken Parmesan over pasta makes me comfortable and happy. Today I delivered it to a friend with hopes it does the same for her :) Chicken breasts, lightly breaded, pan browned, topped with a basic tomato sauce, mozzarella & Parmesan cheese. Easy comfort.
