Sweet Potato Praline Cake {Share the Love}
This Sweet Potato Praline Cake is a combination of our favorite Praline Banana Nut Muffins and heavenly Sweet Potato Casserole with Brown Sugar & Pecans. I debated back and forth on what to name this coffee cake. The cake itself is sweet, yet in a subtle way and oh so moist. The praline topping is amazing. Definitely reminiscent of a favorite Thanksgiving side dish. I thought I’d let these pictures do most of the talking. Enjoy!

Chocolate Tea Bark
Chocolate Tea Bark. I fell in love with it’s beauty. Floral and herb tones cast upon a canvas of chocolate. Those who sip tea slowly would enjoy it’s romantic simplicity.

Homemade Blondies {Feeling the Love}
I logged onto my computer this morning and was greeted by 85 new Facebook friends. Whoa! Those of us who use Facebook to promote our blogs have been feeling a little bewildered lately. Facebook has implemented new algorithms that ultimately reduce the number of people that see our posts (typically only 1%…yikes). The way to fix that, at least in their eyes, is to pay to “Promote” our posts.

Dusty Miller Sundae
It all boils down to this. When I was 11 I would collect change until I saved up $1.25. Then it was out the back door, over the stone wall, past the corn fields to Silver Ranch. I would step up to the window and order a Dusty Miller Sundae.

Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce
Oh boy. I did it this time. I took three ingredients, conveniently on hand and 10-minutes later I was licking the spoon. This spoon. The one dripping with Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce.

Homemade Whipped Cream
There are some things I routinely make from scratch that I take for granted. Homemade Whipped Cream is one of them. Consider this post being less about a recipe and more about encouragement to make from scratch whenever possible. It’s really nice to know the ingredients in your dishes. In this case…just two.

Blueberry Coffee Cake
Growing up, this Blueberry Coffee Cake was the quintessential coffee cake in our home. We lived in blueberry country. Early on my grandfather Boppy grew the most gorgeous cultured blueberries. They were so sweet and big and juicy. Later we relied on wild blueberries which bordered tree lines and paths throughout our property. While it took a bit longer to fill our baskets, the reward was well worth it. The reward…was my sister Sarah making this heavenly Blueberry Coffee Cake.

Lemony Thyme & Blackberry Scones
I was given the sweetest tea set for my birthday from one of my factory contacts in Taiwan. It came with six tiny tea cups which clearly implied Tea Party. And that’s when I decided to make scones. Lemony Thyme & Blackberry Scones.

Oatmeal Cookies {Share the Love}
My sister happened on a treasure a couple of weeks ago. She found a recipe box filled with family favorites. I was giddy, she was giddy. We spent an hour on the phone reminiscing over each one. When we got done I had written out a half a dozen that I had to make in a hurry. These Oatmeal Cookies were first up.

Triple Chocolate Triple Layer Mayonnaise Cake {Share the Love}
Hold on now. You don’t have to love mayonnaise to love this Triple Chocolate Triple Layer Mayonnaise Cake. Mayonnaise is after all eggs and oil, two key ingredients in chocolate cake. This cake is so moist and oh so chocolatey, it’s become our family’s favorite.
