Hot Reuben Dip
I’ve been playing around lately with new ideas for dips. We took a Crab Rangoon and turned it inside out, creating a creamy crab dip with Wonton Chips on the side. This Hot Reuben Dip is made with that kind of twist in mind. Take the yummy ingredients that make The Classic Reuben Sandwich so popular and serve it with Jewish rye Party bread. One more easy crowd pleasing recipe to add to your next finger food spread.

The Classic Reuben Sandwich {with Homemade Russian Dressing}
The Classic Reuben Sandwich on fresh bakery marble rye bread with a schmear of amazing Homemade Russian Dressing was just right. Sometimes less is more. I know I’ve said that recently in a post. I’m intentionally practicing that line. Sometimes less is more. Key word here ‘sometimes.’ Perhaps to a fault, I’ve always been a fan of ‘the more the merrier.’ However last night called for a simple, quick and easy dinner.

Corned Beef & Cabbage Egg Rolls {with Russian Dressing}
Corned Beef & Cabbage Egg Rolls {with Russian Dressing}. Recipe inspiration you ask? Day after St. Patrick’s Day leftovers meets an open package of wonton wrappers on the second shelf of the refrigerator…and the plotting begins. By the time I woke up this morning they had formed a bond and a plan. When I opened the fridge door the Ziploc bag of wonton wrappers had neatly made it’s way to the top of the container of leftover boiled dinner. Clearly it was a case of love at first sight.

Here is the baked version of our most favorite wing recipe from our local….no, not our local wing joint. This recipe is for our favorite Mardi Gras Wings from our local supermarket. You might know the one. First I mastered the Mardi Gras Wing Seasoning. Then I mastered the Whole Roasted Mardi Gras Chicken.

National Slider Day
There are some food holidays that are a bit of a stretch and then there are others. National Slider Day deserves recognition. What better way to eat your favorite burger, sandwich, sub, slider…. then in a manageable 2-3 bite delicious bundle. Rhetorical. It’s the way to go. Here are some of my favorites.

Easy Pad Thai {with Spaghetti Squash}
Pad Thai is my go-to Thai take-out dish. I love everything about it. Traditionally this is a noodle dish and who doesn’t love noodles, especially when they are stir-fried with eggs! Yum!! Today I decided to lighten it up a bit, so I substituted roasted spaghetti squash “noodles” for the classic rice noodles. Results. Two thumbs up in this house.

French Dip Sandwich
It’s National Sandwich Day. Definitely couldn’t let this one get by without a proper tribute. But I had a slight dilemma. I am currently on grocery store restrictions aka it’s Eat Out of the Fridge/Pantry Week for us. I have promised not to step foot into a store. It’s killing me y’all.

Classic Lasagna {with a Spooky Effect}
I decided to make a giant Classic Lasagna to share with my work family. But I wanted to add a spooky element to the dish. Wait til you see what I did.
