{How-To} Line a Cake Pan with Parchment Paper. Step by Step.
Step 1 ~ Tear off a piece of parchment paper and trim to make a square slightly larger than your cake pan.
Step 2 ~ Fold in half making a triangle.
Step 3 ~ Continue folding into quarters, then again into eighths.
Step 4 ~ Turn your cake pan upside down and place the tip of the parchment paper in the center of your pan. Mark the paper where the edge of the pan is and trim.
Step 5 ~ unfold and place in pan. If to large, refold and trim where necessary. Lightly grease the pan then press the parchment paper in place.
Step 6 ~ Grease and flour your parchment lined pans as usual.
Step 7 ~ Cool your cakes as usual. When you invert your cakes, they will come out beautifully.
Step 8 ~ Simply remove the parchment paper and proceed with recipe.
