Pimento Cheese Dip with Jalapenos
Pimento Cheese Dip is such a treat. I think because it’s made with love. The same kind of love that goes into homemade Egg Salad or Tuna Salad. You know the kind where the ingredients are finely diced, seasoned just right, and brought together with a little mayonnaise love.
Maybe it’s my imagination but I think my family was a little sweeter when they knew I was about to make Pimento Cheese Dip with Jalapeno. Ever so slightly.
Here are my ingredients. You’ll notice the cheese is the store bought shredded kind and that is on purpose. Freshly shredded cheese is soft and while that’s wonderful for most everything, we like our Pimento Cheese Dip to keep it’s texture and flavor personality.
Since we’re still enjoying some beautiful summer-like weather I decided to make a nice big batch of Pimento Cheese Dip, sit out on the back porch, and enjoy every minute of. Trust me this is one sure fire way to gather the family around. This nice big batch…..never saw sundown.
We did however {Share the Love} with mom and dad AND heap it on top of our Isle of Palm Burgers (wait ’til you get a load of those). With the weekend approaching, I might have to mix up another batch of Pimento Cheese Dip love!
Recipe note: Warm Pimento Cheese Dip with Jalapenos in a 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Game changer.
