Cacio e Pepe Served Two Ways
I am coming off such an incredible weekend and needed Monday’s dinner to be as easy as Cacio e Pepe. Served Two Ways! The first way is rather traditional made with spaghetti and lots of cheese and pepper! The second is prepared with spaghetti squash! Equally as delicious, gluten free and low carb friendly!

Million Dollar Bacon (First Watch Copycat)
Million Dollar Bacon is worth the drive to the nearest First Watch restaurant. But if you don’t have one near by or prefer to make this copycat recipe at home, that works for me. It’s not that it’s the only thing I crave on their menu however, they have so many great breakfast & brunch options. My kids even got me a First Watch cookbook for Christmas last year because they know I’m a breakfast lover!

Crispy Parmesan Roasted Broccoli
Crispy Parmesan Roasted Broccoli. Move over cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, broccoli is making a comeback in this house! Oven roasted, crispy-edged, parmesan-crusted, lemon-zested broccoli is THE best!! You can serve it as an appetizer (hello…roasted Brussels sprouts are on nearly every appetizer menu). You should definitely make it your go-to side dish. And Crispy Roasted Broccoli is more than happy stealing the show for any vegetarian meal!

White BBQ Sauce
The first White BBQ Sauce I ever had was from Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q in Atlanta. We catered a company event and brought in a full spread of their pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked chicken. Along with the meat, they provided three distinct BBQ Sauces, one of which was White BBQ Sauce. It seemed odd and quite appealing to this girl who loves all things creamy. Holy Wow! was the first thing I thought when I tasted it. We have since recreated this mayonnaise & vinegar based BBQ sauce at home. It’s creamy yes, but has a nice punch from the horseradish and creole mustard. Black pepper and garlic round out the depth of flavor.…

Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
When I first began the Lemony Thyme blog it was our fresh herb porch pots that I recognized/acknowledged/gave credit to/sited/attributed for my cooking inspiration. Fresh Herbs still continue to amaze and inspire me daily. However, I have found an equally intriguing element to cooking. Recreating fridge/pantry staples from scratch (or mostly from scratch). Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing is super easy to make at home and just as good if not better than the bottled variety.

Whether it’s a Prime Rib Roast or a Cowboy Cut Ribeye, a side of Horseradish Sauce aka Horsey Sauce is a nice touch. Simple ingredients come together to make this sturdy sauce.

Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper Roast Chicken
When you cook a whole chicken every week like we do, you are always searching for new recipe inspiration. We literally sit around talking about our favorite flavor pairings. “Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper” leaped out of my mouth with a level of certainty that was not to be questioned. There are three primary reasons why we roast a chicken every week (there are so many more than three but we narrowed it down).

Chipotle Smoked Cheddar Cheese Ball {with Bacon & Jalapeno}
Chipotle Smoked Cheddar Cheese Ball {with Bacon & Jalapeno}. I received an email several months ago from the marketing company for Kellogg’s asking if I’d like to sample their new bold cutting-edge Cheez-It product. Would I? You betcha.

Brown Butter Irish Soda Bread {with Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper}
Brown Butter Irish Soda Bread {with Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper} As St. Patrick’s Day entered the radar of food bloggers and the like, the recipe sharing became fast and furious. I couldn’t have imagined Guinness could find it’s way into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert….but alas it’s been done. Wonderful dishes rich in flavor yet not overdone. I suspect that holds true for Ireland herself. I never question the authenticity of a dish, purely because I love to experiment with recipes and expect others do as well. Let that be the lead in to this not so traditional Brown Butter Irish Soda Bread with Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper. The beautiful…

Lemon Blackberry Vinaigrette
Creating wonderful vinaigrettes or marinades is so easy when you have these beautiful ingredients to work with. I started with Peppercorn & Balsamic Poached Pears which yielded a wonderful balsamic reduction to use as the base for my vinaigrette.
