Salisbury Steak Meatballs {with Mushroom Gravy}
Salisbury Steak Meatballs {with Mushroom Gravy}. I wanted to deliver comfort. The kind of comfort that if only for a meal would help ease the weight of the day. Our most popular recipe on Lemony Thyme is our Salisbury Steak. Anytime I share it the response is overwhelmingly positive. Today I’m sharing that recipe except in the form of Salisbury Steak Meatballs {with Mushroom Gravy}.

Chocolate Truffle Torte {with Macadamia Crust}
May 28th is my darling Shelby’s birthday. Twenty-four years ago today I became a mom. THE most important job title I will ever hold. Last year on this day I made her a Chocolate Truffle Torte, with the intention of sharing it with you that evening. Instead, we soaked in every ounce of our most amazing daughter and this recipe slowly moved into the unpublished archives.

Banana Upside Down Cake
It all began with an overripe bunch of bananas. I bought them with the best smoothie intentions. Before bed last night I declared Banana Cake is going to happen. Thanks to Pinterest and Sprinkle Some Sugar this holy amazingness happened. On Easter Sunday. Banana Upside Down Cake is a recipe you’ll want to remember.

Gruyere Cabbage {with Bacon}
We bought a 5 pound cabbage for 88 cents. Not sure why I chose that as the intro line to this recipe, but dang cabbage is cheap. Which makes really good cabbage recipes all the more appealing. We like many, had Corned Beef & Cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day. We like many, have leftovers to repurpose. Gruyere Cabbage was a dish my mom made often. Today, I dug out the 30-year old hand written recipe card, made sense of the measurements, and added bacon. Oh my! I think Mom would be proud.

Chicken Kiev {with Fresh Herbs & Garlic}
I looked out the back door at my fresh herb porch pots, expecting to see various shades of brown with brittle textures. Yet instead I saw a burst of spring-thyme green. Chives. How on earth did this soft herb survive the unseasonably icy and cold winter? It’s a mystery. And a sign. Make Chicken Kiev.

Pistachio Oatmeal Sandies
I’ve been looking forward to receiving my 2015 cooking magazine subscriptions (I’m changing it up a bit this year). The first to arrive in the mailbox was BON APPETIT with a big banner across the top that read GET HEALTHY IN 2015. Right on!! So I promptly made cookies. Pistachio Oatmeal Cookies.

European Cookie Butter Fudge
Who was my Secret Santa this year? Who stumped me so well that I spent an entire week bragging about my amazing Secret Santa to none other than….my Secret Santa? That would be Bethany. The sneaky lady who made me a batch of this incredible European Cookie Butter Fudge (along with many other fabulous gifts).

Ferrero Rocher Cake
I started a tradition last year where I would ask a friend to select a chocolate recipe, anything they like, that I would then recreate and deliver to them to Share the Love. I call these Adventures in Chocolate. This go around I chose my friend & co-worker Jennica. She actually squealed with excitment and headed straight to my Adventures in Chocolate Pinterest Board where she selected this fabulous Ferrero Rocher Cake recipe by Mom’s Dish.
