Traditional Alfredo Sauce
Traditional Alfredo Sauce. This luxurious sauce is most classically referred to in conjunction with Fettuccini Alfredo. We’ve incorporated it in our Seafood Lasagna {with Jalapeno Sauce}. In that case we simply added finely diced jalapeno to the butter and sautéed for a few minutes before adding cream. It’s delicious.

USDA Prime NY Strip Steaks with Worcestershire-Chive Butter
Every once in a while the stars and the moon align and we stumble upon USDA ‘Prime’ Beef at our wholesale club. Typically reserved for restaurants, Prime beef is a high quality ultra tender grade. And for me tender is where it’s at.

Spinach Phyllo Triangles {Step-by-Step}
Spinach Phyllo Triangles. Glorious buttery crispy pockets of cheesy spinachy love. This was the first dish I learned to make using phyllo dough. Santa Kisses Cookies
I have a well known weakness for Peppermint Bark. Completely…I do. It’s pure magic to me. I’ve stalked many a Williams-Sonoma store on free sample days. I’m the one trying to look uninterested as I saunter by the counter….multiple times. Hmm, what’s this? Peppermint Bark. Okay, if you insist. Don’t mind if I do. This one is for my daughter. Okay I’m leaving now. When Hershey’s came out with their Candy Cane Kisses they brought the essence of peppermint bark to our grocery store shelves. I embraced that. Santa Kisses Cookies in the spirit of Peppermint Bark magic.

Classic Loaded Baked Potato {with Butter, Sour Cream, Bacon, Cheddar and Chives}
This Classic Loaded Baked Potato. Popularized as a traditional side dish served with a nice juicy steak dinner. Any respectable steak house has worked nearly as hard to perfect the baked potato as they have say a Cowboy Cut Bone-In Rib Eye.
