Toothacher Bars {My most treasured family recipe}
Toothacher Bars. The name would indicate overly sweet and decadent, however these bars are so much more than that. Chocolate, caramel, and pecans make them decadent yes, but an oatmeal crumble base and topping is what makes them spectacular!!

Turtle Shortbread Cookies {Share the Love}
This week my office is doing a little holiday baking for our wonderful loyal customers. There’s something special about receiving a gift of home-baked goodness….so we shall Share the Love. I chose this recipe for Turtle Shortbread Cookies from bettycrocker.com because I have a soft spot for shortbread. For as many years as I can remember there have been Walkers Shortbread Cookies in my Christmas Stocking. I love them. Worship them actually.

Chocolate Covered Almond Coconut Candy Bars {Adventures in Chocolate}
Without a doubt, my favorite check-out isle candy bar is the Almond Joy. Coincidentally, the name I chose for Secret Santa at the office also listed Almond Joy as her favorite ‘sweet’ treat. And since Day #2 is to deliver something sweet I think it’s only fitting that I make these Chocolate Covered Almond Coconut Candy Bars (for her of course).

Chocolate Cobbler {Adventures in Chocolate}
Without a doubt my Adventures in Chocolate recipes get more views than any other categories I post to. So when my mom-in-law told me about a dessert she enjoyed recently….Chocolate Cobbler, I knew that would be the next dessert added to the pages of Lemony Thyme.

Chocolate Truffles {Adventures in Chocolate}
Of all our posts to Lemony Thyme or Facebook….Adventures in Chocolate get the most attention. After several weeks of posting crazy decadent desserts I had a friend request something non-dairy (but I got the feeling a fresh fruit parfait wasn’t what she was envisioning). So I present you with Chocolate Truffles, easily converted to non-dairy.

Almond Joy Iced Coffee {National Coffee Day}
Today is National Coffee Day! I’m not sure who declares all these ‘National’ Days but thank you, whoever you are, for this one. Coconut and Chocolate belong together. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t. Today it’s nuts. ~ Almond Joy Iced Coffee Recipe ~

My motivation this time is a special friend and fellow chocolate lover’s birthday. Thank you Recipe Boy for posting these Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Cup Stuffed Oreos. I’m going to follow your lead and post these for a virtual event. Happy Birthday BNP!! I promise to deliver these to you in person tomorrow :)

Chocolate Chip & Oreo Caramel Brownies {Adventures in Chocolate}
If after reading the title and seeing the picture you’re still looking for more… it’s likely you have an insatiable sweet tooth like me. I saw these Chocolate Chip & Oreo Caramel Brownies on Pinterest from the site Betchacanteatjustone and immediately pinned it to wait patiently for the right occasion. These brownies are dangerous and should not be left unattended…they will disappear and potentially wreak havoc. Which is precisely why I made them to bring to my tennis match.
