It’s football season, officially Autumn Thyme and we’ve dipped into the low 60’s here in the sunny south. I for one am ready for fall. Bring on apples, pumpkins, soups, stews, chili, comfort food and game day recipes, preferably in the form of hot dips. Hot dips like BBQ Chicken Pizza Dip.

Parmesan & Herb Savory French Toast {with Balsamic Onion Jam}
Parmesan & Herb Savory French Toast {with Balsamic Onion Jam} is just one more reason I’m addicted to breakfast foods. I’m always, always on the lookout for the next best grilled cheese sandwich. I seek inspiration at every turn. Every turn down the grocery store isle. Every turn through food magazine features. That gorgeous Emmentaler on Rye sandwich inspired our Blueberry Balsamic Red Onion & Gruyere Grilled Cheese.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Herbed Scrambled Eggs {in Avocado Boats}
There was a cooking show on Food Network a while back that we really liked. I can’t recall the name of it, but the host would always feature the ‘obedient ingredient.’ That’s exactly what I did this morning. I bought a few too many avocados this week so I’m turning them into serving vessels. Our Herbed Scrambled Eggs were quite happy in their avocado boats.
